During the holidays, our 7th grade student, Juan Sebastián, Ochoa completed a summer course in Technology at Eton College, England, in partnership with the University of Oxford.
Juan Sebastián chose this course because he has been interested in the world of robotics and coding since a very young age. This ‘Technology Explorers’ course lasted one week and allowed our student to interact with people from different cultures, as well as reinforcing his fluency in English.
“It was a very different experience because I had never been with so many people who didn’t speak my mother tongue. Although it was difficult to adapt to speaking English all the time, it was very cool,” said Juan Sebastián.
We are glad the experience paid off!

Durante las vacaciones, nuestro estudiante Juan Sebastián Ochoa de séptimo grado, realizó un curso de verano en Tecnología, en Eton College, Inglaterra, en convenio con la Universidad de Oxford.
Juan Sebastián eligió este curso porque desde muy pequeño le ha llamado la atención el mundo de la robótica, lo virtual y la codificación. Este curso de ‘Technology Explorers’ tuvo una duración de una semana y le permitió a nuestro estudiante compartir con personas de diferentes culturas, además de reforzar su fluidez en el inglés.
“Fue una experiencia muy diferente porque nunca había estado con tantas personas que no hablaran mi lengua materna. Aunque fue difícil adaptarme a hablar inglés todo el tiempo, fue muy chévere”, mencionó Juan Sebastián.
