This 2025, we at CCB kicked off the year by sharing knowledge with educators from other countries and learning from them in return.
From January 13th to 20th, we had the pleasure of hosting three teachers from Craighouse School in Chile, as part of a teacher exchange program thanks to our partnership with LAHC (Latin American Heads Conference). During their visit to CCB, Macarena Ashwell and Valentina Araya joined our Early Childhood section, sharing their expertise in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Meanwhile, Macarena Andrade worked with our Secondary students, sharing her knowledge of Economics and Business Management from the IB Diploma Programme. Throughout their stay, our visiting teachers were accompanied by our host teachers, Rogelio Pérez, Elaine Escobar, and Diana Marcela Mosquera, who will also have the opportunity to visit the Craighouse School campus in Chile in July.
In addition, on January 20th, we were delighted to welcome Eliseo Torres, Director of Secondary and Director of Institutional and Academic Development at the Instituto Alberto Einstein in Panama.
During his three-day visit, Eliseo attended several classes, interacted with students, and observed our teachers’ strategies. He also gained firsthand insights into our experience with the IB continuum, our disciplinary processes, and our approach to student well-being.
At CCB, we believe that these exchanges and visits bring us closer to our goal of sharing knowledge and strategies that promote student-centred, high-quality, global, and collaborative teaching learning.

Este 2025, en el CCB empezamos compartiendo conocimientos con educadores de otros países y aprendiendo a la vez de ellos.
Desde el 13 hasta el 20 de enero tuvimos la oportunidad de recibir a tres profesoras del Craighouse School de Chile, a través de un intercambio de profesores gracias a nuestra asociación con LAHC (Latin American Heads Conference). Durante su visita en el CCB, Macarena Ashwell y Valentina Araya hicieron parte de la sección de Early Childhood, gracias a su experiencia en el Programa de Escuela Primaria (PEP) del IB.
Por otro lado, Macarena Andrade, estuvo en la sección de Bachillerato compartiendo sus conocimientos en Economía y Gestión Empresarial del Programa del Diploma IB. Durante sus estancias fueron acompañadas por nuestros profesores anfitriones, Rogelio Pérez, Elaine Escobar y Diana Marcela Mosquera, que también tendrán la oportunidad de viajar a Chile en julio, para visitar el Craighouse School.
Además, también tuvimos el placer de recibir el 20 de enero a Eliseo Torres, Director de la Sección de Secundaria y Director del Desarrollo Institucional y Académico del Instituto Alberto Einstein, en Panamá.
Durante su visita de tres días, Eliseo asistió a varias clases, interactuó con los estudiantes y observó las estrategias de nuestros docentes. Además, conoció de primera mano nuestra experiencia con los programas continuos del IB, cómo son nuestros procesos disciplinarios, de convivencia y de bienestar estudiantil.
En el CCB, estamos seguros que estos intercambios y visitas, nos acercan cada vez más a seguir compartiendo conocimientos y estrategias que nos lleven a una enseñanza centrada en el estudiante, de alta calidad, globalizada y colaborativa.
