On Monday, September 11th, 47 students from 9th to 12th grade were invited to the Leadership Workshop “Mentes y Corazones que ImpaCtan,” led by Roger Collazos and the department’s psychology team. The workshop focused on strengthening leadership skills in the context of service and inclusion.

Among the attendees were various leadership positions such as the Head Boy and Head Girl, Prefects, Student Council members, House Captains, Student Representatives, Corazón Verde Leaders, Round Square, and NHS members. The main objective of the workshop was to further develop our student leaders so that their voices can have an impact on the community.

The Headmaster and the Secondary section have committed to providing all the necessary support student leaders need so they can carry out their roles efficiently. The session was highly productive, offering them the opportunity to reflect on their roles from a perspective of solidarity and empathy.

This leadership workshop marks the beginning of a process aimed at enhancing students’ skills and fostering a culture of service and empathy within the educational community. It’s expected that this workshop will be the first of many, allowing student leaders to develop their potential and make a difference in their environment.
