Our 4th grade student, Juan Carlos Figueroa, finished runner-up in the doubles category in the green ball category at the ‘National Children’s Festival Gratitude – XII PARADA 2024’, which took place between the 6th and 8th of September at the Cali Tennis Club.
For the past 2 years, Juan Carlos has been training tennis at the Cali Tennis Club and mentions that he started playing this sport because he was quite interested in it and what he likes most about this sport is that it is very “respectful,” as Juan Carlos defines it.
Congratulations to our student on this achievement. We are sure that many more will come!

Nuestro estudiante de cuarto grado, Juan Carlos Figueroa, quedó subcampeón en la modalidad de dobles en la categoría bola verde, en el ‘Festival Nacional Infantil Agradecimiento – XII PARADA 2024’, que se llevó a cabo entre el 6 y 8 de septiembre en el Club de Tenis de Cali.
Desde hace 2 años, Juan Carlos entrena tenis en el Club de Tenis de Cali y menciona que empezó a practicar este deporte porque le interesó bastante y porque no le gustan los deportes bruscos. Además lo que más le gusta de este deporte es que es muy “respetuoso”, así lo define Juan Carlos.
