Swimming and Gymnastics Super Liga
Around 176 swimmers from different schools competed in the “Super Liga de Natación”, including the schools Alemán, Bolívar, Cañaverales, Hispanoamericano, Jefferson and Philadelphia. Our delegation, composed of 38 students from 2nd to 11th grade, stood out obtaining 29 medals.
– Federated Swimmers (CCB students who train in the Liga Vallecaucana de Natación): 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
– School Swimmers (who only train at the school): 8 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze medals.
In the federated category, we came second, being beaten by the school Philadelphia and followed by the school Hispanoamericano. In the school category, we came first, followed by Philadelphia school and Jefferson school. The next stop of the Super Liga de Natación is scheduled for May 18, 2024 at the CCB facilities.
Simultaneously, the Gymnastics Super Liga was held, with the participation of students from 2nd to 7th grade, representing the schools Cañaverales, Jefferson, Liceo Los Alpes, as well as various gymnastics clubs.
Our delegation was composed of 45 gymnasts and obtained outstanding results:
– Gymnastic Skills: 3 participation medals.
– Pre Level: 26 medals of participation.
– Level I and II Federated and School: Several medals in each apparatus and in the general classification.
We took second place by teams in the category Level II Federated, and the first place by teams in the category Level II School. The next stop of the Gymnastics Super Liga will be on the 18th May 2024 at the school Cañaverales.
AACBI Cup
Finishing off with the sports summary, we have had excellent results with the start of the COPA AACBI Artistic Gymnastics National Competition, which took place on the 10th and 11th of November. Our delegation was made up of 25 gymnasts, who stood out with 5 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 10 bronze medals, achieving first place for teams in the Pre Level category and second place for teams in the Level II category, both in the school category.
On the other hand, in swimming, more than 164 athletes from schools such as Liceo Los Alpes, Cañaverales, Jefferson and Hispanoamericano participated. Our delegation won a total of 25 gold, 15 silver and 4 bronze medals.
CCB stood out even more by winning 2nd place in the Pre-Infantil Mixed Relay, 1st place in the Infantil Mixed Relay and being crowned overall champion of the team event, demonstrating undisputed leadership in the pool.
At CCB we have grown stronger in our sporting endeavours, demonstrating that we really do have a voice for sport.

Súper Liga de Natación y Gimnasia
En el marco de la Súper Liga de Natación, compitieron alrededor de 176 nadadores de los diferentes colegios, entre ellos el Alemán, Bolívar, Cañaverales, Hispanoamericano, Jefferson y Philadelphia. Nuestra delegación, integrada por 38 estudiantes de 2° a 11° grado se destacó obteniendo 29 medallas.
– Nadadores Federados (estudiantes CCB que entrenan en la Liga Vallecaucana de Natación ): 2 medallas de oro, 5 de plata y 1 de bronce.
– Nadadores Escolares (que solo entrenan en el colegio) : 8 medallas de oro, 8 de plata y 5 de bronce.
En la categoría de federados, quedamos en segundo lugar, siendo superados por el colegio Philadelphia y seguidos por el colegio Hispanoamericano. Mientras que en la categoría de escolares, ocupamos el primer lugar, seguidos por el colegio Philadelphia y el colegio Jefferson. La siguiente parada de la Súper Liga de Natación está programada para el 18 de mayo de 2024 en las instalaciones del CCB.
Simultáneamente, se llevó a cabo la Súper Liga de Gimnasia, la cual contó con la participación de estudiantes de 2° a 7° grado, representando a los colegios Cañaverales, Jefferson, Liceo Los Alpes, así como a diversos clubes de gimnasia.
Nuestra delegación estuvo compuesta por 45 gimnastas y obtuvo destacados resultados:
– Habilidades Gimnásticas: 3 medallas de participación.
– Pre Nivel: 26 medallas de participación.
– Nivel I y II Federado y Escolar: Diversas medallas en cada aparato y en la clasificación general.
Destacamos en el segundo lugar por equipos en la categoría Nivel II Federado, y el primer lugar por equipos en la categoría Nivel II Escolar. La siguiente parada de la Súper Liga de Gimnasia será el 18 de mayo de 2024 en el Colegio Cañaverales.
Copa AACBI
Finalizando el resumen deportivo, hemos tenido excelentes resultados con el inicio de la Competencia Nacional COPA AACBI de Gimnasia Artística, que se llevó a cabo el 10 y 11 de noviembre. Nuestra delegación estaba compuesta por 25 gimnastas, que se destacaron con 5 medallas de oro, 6 de plata y 10 de bronce, logrando el primer lugar por equipos en la categoría Pre Nivel y el segundo lugar por equipos en la categoría Nivel II, ambos en categoría escolar.
Por otro lado, en la disciplina de natación, participaron más de 164 deportistas de colegios como el Liceo Los Alpes, Cañaverales, Jefferson e Hispanoamericano. Nuestra delegación obtuvo un total de 25 medallas de oro, 15 de plata y 4 de bronce.
El CCB destacó aún más al conseguir el 2do puesto en el Relevo Mixto Pre Infantil, el 1er puesto en el Relevo Mixto Infantil y al coronarse campeón general del evento por equipos, demostrando un liderazgo indiscutible en la piscina.
En el CCB nos hemos fortalecido en nuestras participaciones deportivas, demostrando que realmente tenemos una voz para el deporte.
