We finished an incredible 2022-2023 in terms of sports and arts in charge of the ECAs programme, our massive participation in events at a local and national level fills us with pride and satisfaction for the incredible teamwork of our community, students, parents and staff of the CCB), we ended with more than 70% of the students of the school being part of the activities of the programme which we are very happy to share with everyone.
Taking the above into consideration, we would like to highlight some special events:
A total of 245 students participated in nationwide tours to Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cali, and Medellín, which is 115 more participants than in the 2021-2022 academic year.
Among these tours, it is noteworthy to mention the achievements of various teams and individuals. The boys category 3 football teams secured 1st place in the AACBI tournaments in Cali and 2nd place in the Cumbres Cup in Medellín. The category 3 girls football team also achieved 2nd place in the AACBI tournament in Cali. In gymnastics, levels 1 and 2 excelled in the Big Games and the National Games in Barranquilla and Cali, 1st place both individually and as teams. Lastly, in swimming at the Cumbres Cup in Medellín, our participants achieved 1st place in both individual and team. At the Local tours, our participation with category 3 girls football team (1st place Silver), the basketball teams – Talents category (Gold and Silver), boys football category 3 and 4 in Gold.
The category 4 girls football team achieved 2nd place in the tournament of the first semester.
In the Swimming Super Liga (outstanding places of honour), Gymnastics (winners in individuals and teams) and Skating (waiting for the result).
In the first semester of the school year, during Interescuelas Football Tournament on Saturdays, the final of the Under 17 Category was played by the CCB “A” vs. CCB “B” teams; while in the second semester the Sub 9, Sub 13 and Sub 15 categories reached the semi-finals. On the other hand, the Sub 7 and Sub 17 categories were left with the champion title.
The school year concluded with the final demonstrations of the ECAs for the students in the Early Childhood section, allowing parents to witness the development of their children’s abilities and skills in each of the activities they practice. These demonstrations also included performances by the choir, symphonic band, and dance/choreography of the Primary section, additionally, we had the Scout Camps, the CCB Judo Copa Amistad, and the return of the CCB Basketball Camp.

Finalizamos un increíble 2022-2023 en materia de deportes y artes a cargo del programa de ECAs del CCB, nuestra masiva participación en eventos a nivel local y nacional nos llena de orgullo y satisfacción por el increíble trabajo en equipo de nuestra comunidad (estudiantes, padres de familia y staff del CCB), finalizamos con más del 70% de los estudiantes del colegio siendo parte de las actividades del programa, un número para nada despreciable y del cual nos sentimos muy felices de compartir.
Considerando lo anterior, queremos compartir unos datos de mucho interés para nuestra comunidad:
Un total de 245 estudiantes participaron de las giras a nivel nacional (Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cali y Medellín), superando los 115 participantes del 2021-2022.
De estas giras es importante mencionar las participaciones de los equipos de fútbol categoría 3 masculino en los torneos AACBI de Cali (1er lugar) y Cumbres Cup en Medellín (2 lugar), fútbol femenino categoría 3 en el torneo AACBI de Cali (2do lugar), gimnasia niveles 1 y 2 en los Big Games y en los National Games en Barranquilla y Cali respectivamente (1er lugar a nivel individual y equipos), finalmente, natación en Cumbres Cup – Medellín (1ros lugares en pruebas individuales y por equipos).
A nivel local se hace presente nuestra participación en torneos con el equipo femenino de fútbol categoría 3 (1er lugar Silver), los equipos de baloncesto en categoría Talentos en Gold y Silver, fútbol masculino categoría 3 y 4 en Gold. El equipo de fútbol femenino categoría 4 logró el 2do lugar en el torneo del primer semestre y está cerca de lograr el paso a la final en el presente semestre de la Copa Nosotras de Fútbol.
En la Súper Liga de Natación (lugares de honor destacados) , Gimnasia (ganadores en individuales y equipos) y Patinaje (pendiente de la última parada para obtener resultados).
En el primer semestre del año lectivo, durante el Torneo Interescuelas de Fútbol los días sábados, la final de la Categoría Sub 17 la disputaron los equipos CCB “A” vs CCB “B”; mientras que en el segundo semestre las categorías Sub 9, Sub 13 y Sub 15 alcanzaron las semifinales. Por otro lado, las categorías Sub 7 y Sub 17 se quedaron con el título de campeón.
Otros eventos de gran acogida y destacables son los Campamentos Scouts, la Copa de la Amistad CCB de Judo y el regreso del Campamento de Baloncesto CCB.
Finalizamos el año lectivo con las demostraciones finales de las ECAs para los estudiantes de la sección Early Childhood, donde sus padres han podido apreciar el desarrollo de sus habilidades y destrezas en cada de unas actividades que practican, a estas demostraciones se sumaron las de coro, banda sinfónica y baile/coreografía de la sección Primaria.
