Daniela Estrada Lasso, student of 9R, has excelled once again in the sport of artistic swimming achieving the bronze medal in the category of Team Free and sixth place in Duet Free, during her participation in the Panam Artistic Swimming Championships 2023, representing the “Club de Nado Sincronizado Ciudad de Cali” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA from August 8th to 15th.
“I was very happy to be able to compete against Mexico, Canada, Chile, United States, Peru and Aruba, as some of them are powerhouses in synchronized swimming at a Pan American level” said Daniela. the student, She revealed that despite having a short preparation process, they managed to do a good job in the competition.
“This Pan American meant a lot to me and it was a very nice experience, as it was my first time competing at an international level and with other countries that I had never seen competing before”. For Daniela and the team it was a joy to win the bronze medal. She added that this championship was very important because it was also the first time she had competed in the women’s duet.
This achievement is the result of the dedication Daniela has put into her constant training. We congratulate her on this triumph and wish her every success in her sporting career.

Daniela Estrada Lasso, estudiante de 9R, se ha destacado una vez más en el deporte del nado artístico logrando la medalla de bronce en la modalidad de Equipo Libre y el sexto puesto en modalidad de Dueto Libre, durante su participación en el Panam Artistic Swimming Championships 2023, representando al Club de Nado Sincronizado Ciudad de Cali en Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA del 8 al 15 de Agosto.
“Me sentí muy feliz de poder competir contra México, Canadá, Chile, Estados Unidos, Perú y Aruba, ya que algunos son potencias en el nado sincronizado a nivel panamericano” nos contó la estudiante, quien revela que a pesar de tener un proceso de preparación corto, lograron realizar un buen trabajo en la competencia.
“Este Panamericano significó mucho para mí y fue una experiencia muy bonita, ya que fue mi primera vez compitiendo a nivel internacional y con otros países que nunca había visto cómo trabajaban”. Para Daniela y el equipo fue una alegría obtener la medalla de bronce. Añade que, este campeonato fue muy importante porque era también la primera vez que competía en dueto femenino.
Este logro es el resultado de la dedicación que Daniela ha puesto en su entrenamiento constante. La felicitamos por este triunfo y le deseamos muchos éxitos en su carrera deportiva.
