Our 10th grade student, Daniela Estrada Lasso, achieved a total of 6 gold medals at the National Inter-Club Artistic Swimming Championships, held in Cali from 16th to 19th December 2024.
She won the gold medals in the free team and combined team events, in the Youth category, and in the free team, technical team, acrobatic team, and free duet events, in the Junior category.
This victory led Daniela and her team, Club Ciudad de Cali, to clinch the title of National Champions in each category.
Although it was a very demanding tournament for Daniela because she competed in two different categories, her effort and hours of training were reflected in the final result.
“I feel very happy because it wasn’t easy, but once you set your mind on something, you can achieve it. Even though we were tired, we worked as a team and were able to get what we wanted,” Daniela mentioned.
Now, Daniela is preparing for her next competition which will be at the end of June as part of the Valle Selection in the Junior category.

Nuestra estudiante de décimo grado, Daniela Estrada Lasso, obtuvo un total de 6 medallas de oro en el Campeonato Nacional Interclubes de Natación Artística, en la ciudad de Cali del 16 al 19 de diciembre 2024.
Las preseas las ganó en equipo libre y equipo combinado, en la categoría Juvenil y en equipo libre, equipo técnico, equipo acrobático y dueto libre, en la categoría Junior.
Esta victoria, llevó a Daniela y a su equipo, Club Ciudad de Cali, a obtener el título de Campeonas Nacionales en cada categoría.
Aunque fue un torneo muy demandante para Daniela porque compitió en dos categorías diferentes, su esfuerzo y las horas de entrenamiento, se vieron reflejadas en el resultado final.
“Me siento muy feliz porque no fue fácil, pero lo que uno se propone lo cumple. Así estuviéramos cansadas, trabajamos en equipo y pudimos lograr lo que queríamos” mencionó Daniela.
Ahora, Daniela se está preparando para su próxima competencia que será a finales del mes de junio como parte de la Selección Valle en la categoría Junior.
